Story came into our rescue program on October 7, 2023. Story came into our rescue program from the Norman Animal Welfare Division as a cruelty case. Story is a Beautiful, Bay Roan, Quarter Horse, Colt. Story is estimated to be 7 months of age upon arrival into our program. Story is emaciated with a body score of a 1. Story's feet are overgrown and in need of trimming. He has an umbilical hernia. Story has mild/moderate flexor contracture of both hindlimbs with upright pasterns. He is currently 4/5 lame in the right front and has a severe effusion in the shoulder joint. This poor boy has experienced so much hurt and pain in his short life. We are hoping that his story changes for the postive in his rehabilitation. He has a lot of obstacles against him currently and he needs all the support he can get. Story is a sweet boy and loves attention. Story is halter broke and broke to lead. Story has a long road of recovery ahead of him. We will update as he progresses.
